My name is Malvin Marcus Hicks 

I was born in Gary, Indiana.  Many a weekend my family and I would visit the museums and art galleries in Chicago, Illinois.  I moved to Columbus, OH after the Xenia tornado in 1975 and met my future wife.  We married and now have three children out of college.

I have a God given talent and no formal training.  I love taking nothing and making something whether old windows, weathered boards or canvas.  Everything has potential.  Something people enjoy, relate to, understand or that may bring back memories.  I sign my pictures with my middle name, Marcus.

*** I cannot name a specific medium for each painting. I work with oils, acrylics, markers, nail polish, indoor & outdoor paints and spray paints. Some of my paintings have all, some a couple. The glass windows are drawn and painted on the back so when turned the finished picture is seen thru window glass (and easily cleaned).

*** I do not accept checks in any shape, form or fashion from anyone.

*** PayPal is the best way to purchase. Please remember I do not ship. Pick up in person is required, especially for the windows which are fragile.
